What they do: Substance Abuse treatment (outpatient) for male adolescents up to age 20 (in Springfield) and adults (in Jacksonville and Springfield). Female adolescent treatment is available in Carbondale. They do assessment, treatment, medication-assisted treatment, family groups, aftercare.
Who is eligible? Services based on what they assess that you need. They accept 98% of private insurance. Will accept many Medical Card patients. Call admissions line to find out. There may be a waiting list for adult residential treatment, but you can start outpatient or day treatment immediately if it’s determined that’s what you need.
Best way to access services: Call anytime or go during walk in hours (Springfield only) for assessment (Tuesday/Thursday 12 noon – 1 p.m. and Wednesday 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
