Pinwheels for Prevention – Local Parade

Child abuse prevention is a community effort. So many local entities contribute to preventing child abuse and together we would like to spotlight local community efforts. Law enforcement, social services, educators, churches, court systems, sports teams, community groups, and so many more …… We all make an impact and promote positive youth outcomes.

Midwest Youth Services will be hosting a Child Abuse Prevention Parade on April 23^rd @10:30am, “Pinwheels for Prevention”. We encourage anyone and everyone to join in. Floats, vehicles, walkers, bike riders…. They are all welcome. We will have pinwheels available for bikes and floats to pass out. 774 exactly…. Which happens to be the number of abuse/neglect calls reported in Morgan, Brown, Scott, Schuyler, and Cass counties in 2021.
